Inter vs Udinese Prediction & Tips
Inter’s resounding 5-0 victory over Torino under Cristian Chivu marked the first time since 2003 that the team had won on the opening day with a foreign manager, and it was also the first time since 1965 that Inter had scored five goals in their league debut. The Nerazzurri are accustomed to stringing together wins at San Siro in these early stages, having won their first two home games in each of the last four Serie A campaigns, while also keeping clean sheets in their two most recent victories.
The 1-1 draw against Hellas Verona may not have impressed many, but for Udinese it extended a solid unbeaten run in the summer, which included five consecutive pre-season victories and a 2-0 win over Serie B side Carrarese in the Coppa Italia. In addition, there was good news this week with the signing of centre forward Adam Buksa from Midtjylland, although this match will be a tough one for the Bianconeri, who have won only two of their ten away league games in 2025 (3 draws, 5 defeats). They have only won their first away game in the top flight once in the last nine years.
