Brighton this season has shown excellent results at times, but alternated them with failures. The team is still fighting for a place in the European competitions, although it is difficult to call them favourites.
The ‘Seagulls’ should not fall out of the top 10, although in the last three matches they have only taken one point. After a draw with Man City, the team lost consecutively to Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, and was also eliminated from the FA Cup.
Leicester will be joined in the next few games by Southampton, who have already confirmed their relegation. The team led by Van Nistelrooy, who is soon to be sacked, is showing simply catastrophic results.
The team is 15 points off the relegation-saving 17th place, which will be virtually impossible to recover in 7 games. Theoretical chances still exist, but, by the looks of it, Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich will be back in the Championship together.
