Madagascar vs Ghana Prediction & Tips
The ‘Bears’ are performing excellently in qualifying for the World Cup and are one step away from reaching football’s premier tournament. After five rounds played, the Madagascar team is in second place in its group, two points behind Ghana and with a one-point lead over the Comoros Islands.
In the last round, Madagascar beat Central African Republic 4-1 away. The win extended their unbeaten run to four games in qualifying, with three wins and a draw. However, their home matches are played on neutral fields: in two matches, a win over the Comoros Islands and a draw with Mali. In the CAN qualifiers, Madagascar finished last in their group with only two points.
Ghana, meanwhile, are currently top of the group, with four wins and one loss in five rounds. The situation in the tournament is shaky, as Madagascar was defeated by the ‘Black Stars’ in the first round at home with great difficulty, scoring the only goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
In the middle of last week, Ghana hosted Chad at home and defeated their opponents 5-0. However, before that, in the African Nations championship, Ghana lost the final to Nigeria. Notably, Ghana crashed out of the Africa Cup of Nations, finishing last in the standings.
