Arsenal seem to have accepted that their title chances have faded and have stopped chasing Liverpool. In their last three Premier League games, they have picked up just two points, but their rivals have failed to capitalise.
In midweek, the Gunners secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where fate has paired them with Real Madrid. They felt no resistance from PSV in the last 16, but the battle for a place in the semi-finals will be fierce.
Chelsea have slowed noticeably after a good start to the season, but still remain among the top four contenders. Qualifying for the Champions League would be a great success for the team, considering their performances last year.
The fight against Nottingham, Man City, Newcastle and others still lies ahead, and in parallel the Blues continue their run in the Conference League. There, Chelsea have already reached the quarter-finals and have no intention of stopping, being the tournament’s top favourites.
