Angers vs Lens Prediction & Tips
It’s a tough time for Angers as they suffered their fourth consecutive Ligue 1 (L1) loss last weekend (P 1-0) away to Nice, and are now closer to relegation than to the places Europeans. The team has another tough test on this matchday against Lens, although the last time the team lost four consecutive games in the top flight, they won the fifth at home and conceding no goals.
To follow that trend, Gérald Baticle’s side need to improve at home, as Angers are the worst team in the league based on their last five home games (G1, L4). The historic clashes against Lens have several possible readings, since “Le SCO” has not lost any of the last three in Ligue 1 (G1, E2), but has not played four consecutive games without losing since 1965.

Players to watch: Thomas Mangani is at a high level and has scored three of Angers’ last four goals at home — all from the penalty spot. For Lens, Seko Fofana has scored five of his seven goals this league season after the break.
