Just a few years ago FK Rostov was only known to football insiders. In the meantime, however, they have become established in the Russian club football. The start of the 2017/2018 season, however, started at first. After a 1-1 draw against Ural, a 1-0 home defeat against Akhmat Grozny followed. But then the team of Leonid Kuchuk on the belt pulled and celebrated two victories in series. Against Amkar Perm, they were able to keep the upper hand with a 1: 0 victory over the match against Anzhi. It was a piece of art because Rostov had been successful almost exclusively at home in the last few years, while away games were by no means one of the team’s favorite occupations. The defensive strength of the team has remained over the last few years. Only two contenders in four league games currently represent the best value of the entire Premier League after the Pokalsieger Lokomotiv Moscow, which had to accept a contender at all. Offensive, however, it does not go as desired with only three goals scored. Rostov is a very defensive player, with a 5-4-1 system. The fast changeover game has however perfected the team like almost no other in Russia. A key role is played by the wing players. The reason why Rostov have not played so far in the season so far is probably due to the high fluctuation experienced by the squad of the former Champions League star this summer. In part, absolute key players such as Azmoun, Noboa or Garnet were handed over, of which especially with the departure of the latter two also lost some experience. Positive: Two of the most recent three duels with Dinamo Moscow have been won, the only defeat in the Russian Cup in September 2016. In the league, they have been busting against the capital cities for three matches. Furthermore, Rostov does not currently have a single injured or blocked player.
Dinamo Moscow
The great times of Dinamo Moscow are over. In the meantime the capital club had even to enter the second league. Of the Moscow clubs, one is clearly the worst, the start to the 2017/2018 season is anything but successful. At the moment, Dinamo is only in the 11th place and therefore in the immediate vicinity of the relegation points. There is, however, a silver strip on the horizon. After three unsuccessful matches to the start, a strong life-style has finally been made. Against Spartak Moscow, they won 2-2 at home in the first season of the season, but then there were problems with Ural (0: 1) and Akhmat Grozny (0-2) before the team offered a furious performance against Amkar Perm : 0 won. Dinamo alone scored more in this match than in the previous three matches and remained without goal for the first time this season. One of the main factors for the victory was Wanderer, who once appeared as a scorer, once as a preparer. Dinamo, like Rostov, is particularly keen on fast short-range play, rarely operating with high balls. This fast switch from defensive to offensive was also against Perm, where after 90 minutes only 45 per cent ball possession had booked. Even the capital cities do not have a single failure to complain before the Wednesday game. Of the individual quality of the squad players we see slight advantages for the opponent from Rostov, even if this does not compare the market values of the two teams. Especially in the defensive, the guests are still more vulnerable than the house owners, despite the zero-victory against Perm. A key player could also be on Wednesday midfielder Kirill Pachenko, who was last used as a hanging tip. The 27-year-old, with two goals from the last two matches, is Dinamo’s most successful scorer. The last away win against Rostov in the case of the Moscow however already from the calendar year 2014.
There are two teams that follow a similar game. Due to the home advantage and the most recent performances, we see quite easy advantages for Rostov, but Dinamo will still be able to take some points.
